We're going to try potty training our son (2 and 4 months) over the Easter holidays. Childminder and HV both think he's ready, as do we, but it's still a daunting prospect!
We go on holiday in 9 weeks time so I'm hoping that, if he takes to it early on, then he'll be on fairly solid ground by the time we go away (but we'll probably take some of our reusable nappies anyway just in case).
My question is surrounding nap-time on the go. I've read that day time dryness comes first and night time dryness follows quite a while later. Generally our son naps at home or at his childminders so no issue putting one of his night time nappies on for then but what happens when you're out and about and he takes a buggy nap? Do I need to change him into a nappy before we plan on trying him for a nap? I'm just imagining walking around in Sicily and having to strip and change my son by some ancient ruins 😂
