Dd aged 3.3 won't use potty

I tried potty training her a year ago, and it was going brilliantly until she started holding her wees in for hours on end. I've just seen another thread like this but didn't want to hijack.

I have spoken to her about it and she told me that she's afraid that wee will splash on
Her leg. She's a terrible worrier. And she gets really scared about it.

When the issue is psychological it's far harder to address. I'm not sure what may help.

Also I'd say go straight to using the toilet with a seat insert and step, that might reduce her fear of getting splashed as its deeper than the potty.

Thank you! Yes we have the Baby Bjorn loo seat. She's still worried about the idea of it but at the same time she has said she wants to wear knickers. She's very tall so it would be better to use the loo seat anyway.
