Hi all
So my little one is 2.5.
He's been showing signs of being ready to use the potty.
We initially tried it a couple of months ago, and he really didn't want to so we decided to wait.

The last 3 days we've been trying to potty train, naked from the waist down no nappy except for bed.
He has done really well!
No accidents at all, apart from a little dribble which he managed to stop until he got to the potty.
We've been asking regularly if he needed to use the potty, putting him on it every so often and today he's been going to it himself when he needed a wee, even been wearing underpants today.

Now tomorrow he'll be back at the childminder and I'm unsure whether I should just stick to it and send him in underpants?

I guess I'm just worried that so far he's been used to doing it at home and wouldn't want him to have an accident out of the house/in the car/park etc and be upset.

Or is that all just part of it and I should just stick with it?

Having accidents is part of the process.

If he's doing well I'd send him in pants but with LOTS of spares. Our nursery used to recommend 10 pairs of pants and trousers in their bags.

Let the childminder know what you've been doing and how he's doing. Perhaps take his home potty as well.

The childminder will have done this loads of times so will be well prepared.
