5 year old.wetting the bed

My boy starter school in September. He had been dry for well over a year through the night till school started. He was then 4 but just turned 5.
He started wetting the bed as soon as school started. I didn't use nappy pants, but after 2 months, I gave in after doing wash after washing.
Any advice on what I can do now. I have tried waking him up for a wee at 10 pm every night sometimes works sometimes doesn't.
Thank you for any advice

Sorry to hear this, more a message of support. I have a 7 year old DD who wets the bed. We use nappy pants and don't make a big deal out of it. There's no way to train you have to wait for a hormone to develop. Hope it resolves soon for you

Waking for a dream wee isn't really recommended these days, it turns out you are actually teaching them to wee while half asleep. My advice would be to get in contact with the charity ERIC, they can advise, and it's the same advice you will get from the continence nurse in a year or two through the GP.
