HELP!! Why no potty in trousers?

Hi there
First thread so bear with me.
DS is 3 & we have started potty training these last few weeks while I had the time off work.
When he's not got anything on the bottom half its great, he goes to the potty no issues.
If he's wearing trousers or just pants then he'll go in them and just watch as the wee goes everywhere!
Please help me!! 😵‍💫

Hey OP, I'm having this exact same problem at the moment- have you had any improvements?

Yes we have had major improvements! No accidents now for weeks & we've even stopped night time nappies. Perseverance is key, we just kept on trying & trying and alot of asking him to try potty.
You will get ther but oh its so stressful!
