My DS will be 2 in October, so is 23 months right now. He's started hiding to do a poo and then telling us he hasn't done one when he obviously has. He's also started to get upset when we go to change him after a poo and wants me to clear everything away straight away as though he doesn't want to see it. I don't know if this is normal or not, a sign of readiness for potty training, or a sign to leave him for now! I don't want to traumatise him!
He's not had any bad poo experiences (that I know of!), although did a big poo in the bath last week that I had to scoop out, and I tried to sit him on the toilet when more was coming out which he screamed about and did not like at all!!
What do you all think?! What are the other signs of readiness I should be looking out for?
