I have an extremely strong willed 3 year old and really struggling with potty training.
At home, she knows when to go and takes herself either to the toilet or potty most of the time with occasional accidents.
We had 2 days of her not wetting at all out and about, with her using her travel potty, she did need a lot of encouragement to use it.
The problem is she is extremely reluctant to go when not at home. She recently started nursery and had a few accidents so was put in a pull up. We had discussed this prior to her starting as I new she might struggle.
My worry is that now she’s having so many accidents at home. I’m not sure if she is confused or if she’s doing it on purpose. I’ve tried the Huggies wet feel pants for out and about but she’s not bothered about being wet and it makes her super reluctant to go.
I know I need to be consistent but it’s really tricky now with nursery. Am I pushing her too hard? Do I just keep her in nappies all the time until she’s settled at nursery? Im just so sad we’ve lost all the progress we made. Or is there any other training pants? We tried the mama mio ones but they didn’t hold anything.
Any advice appreciated!
