Nursery supplies to send

Hi Mums, first time post here.
I've started potty training my 26 month old LG and right now she's going to nursery 2 - 3 days a week only. I'm off work for few weeks and using this time to fully focus on slowly potty train her.
I have question on things to send when she goes to nursery. I don't send her to nursery in shorts usually as I'm not very comfortable with the idea of her getting knees scraped (First time mum here, have been very protective of her). I can send lots of spare underwear but is she going to be in just t shirt and underwear all day there? How about when people train the kids during winters? Surely, just underwear is not possible at that time? What else I can send instead? I don't mind washing a full load of leggings but would that be something really uncomfortable for a kid undergoing potty training?

What else is good to send to nursery in terms of potty training? Anyone sends wet bag to store all the dirty clothes?

whatever you would normally send her in. Just a lot more spares! They will be used to taking down legging etc to put children on the potty. You may find she has a lot more accidents as she will be focused on playing and may not want to stop to go to the potty. Good luck with the potty training

Thank you! I've just started 3 days back and so far stickers seem to work to motivate her to go to Toilet. There are accidents ofcourse. Fingers crossed 🤞

After day 3 (if not before) she can wear normal clothes at home too - she definitely can't go to nursery in just her underwear, I doubt they would allow it. Send her in trousers that are elasticated and easy to get up and down, leggings or shorts fine. And yes a big plastic bag. Don't forget spare socks too!

Spare socks are a must! Grin

Get her used to pulling trousers/leggings/tights down herself to use the toilet to aid independence.

And please don't send in dungarees with a popper vest, tights and converse high tops...

Doesn't sound like she's ready to potty train. Just wait until she's ready and then it won't be such a slow process and you won't have accidents and you won't have to worry about nursery.
And are you seriously saying you didn't let her wear shorts when it was really hot in case she scraped her knee? Kids need to play and fall over and learn to take risks. They're supposed to have constantly bruised knees from playing!
