Potty training

Help! Please tell me I'm not the only one with a child who holds themselves whilst potty training?! First day today and she hasn't done a wee in 8 hours.. had no accidents but no wee's either. I don't know what to do.

How old is she?

My daughter holds a lot too. She's got the bladder of a camel.

Stickers really helped her to get the hang of going.

Hi, she is 30 months. She wants to be in pants! She was so excited she threw her nappies away etc.
When she was in a nappy she would be dry all night (well hydrated through the day & night). Some people keep saying to stick with it and others say it's harmful

2.5 is young, but my DD was ready then.

She was super keen but it took her a day or two to really get it.

The sticker chart worked wonders. We made it together and she would get a star for each wee and sticker for a poo.

Once she had enough she got a treat (can't remember what now) worked really well for her
