Regression after 1 month of training...

Hi, we started potty training my daughter last month when she was 19 months, she was showing multiple signs of readiness. It was going really well to start with, barely any accidents, she was telling us when she needed to go etc for about 3 weeks. And then the last week she has just been constantly having accidents and I can't work out why 😩 she has even stopped telling me she needs the toilet and doesn't seem bothered when she has an accident. I took a urine sample to the drs in case it was a UTI but that has come back clear. I think she possibly is a little bit constipated so have started giving her some lactulose (stool softener), but surely that can't be the reason she has regressed so badly? I'm thinking about putting her back into nappies and trying again when she's a bit older but then I'm hesitant because of all the hard work we have put in over the last month and how well she was doing 😩 help! What would you do?

Just wanted to update in case anyone else is in the same boat, but we decided today to put her back in nappies, I saw this (pic attached) on a website when researching and I think she isn't emotionally ready yet and was performing so well initially to please us or because of the novelty of it. Anyway she seemed almost a bit relieved to have a nappy back on so I definitely think it was the right thing, although I now feel a bit guilty that we were trying when she wasn't ready. She's done loads of wees in her nappy through the day and hasn't told us toilet or anything when she has done them, although she did insist on taking her nappy off to do a poo on the toilet, and then also did a wee on the toilet after seeing her brother do one before bed, so who knows?! But I think we will leave it at least six months or so and try again 😊
