I've trawled through every thread on this issue on here but am just looking for some reassurance and success stories, my girl is 2.10 and has been potty training for 2 months almost. Wees are 90% all on the potty or toilet I'm really pleased as this is our second time round potty training but poos are hit n miss, most of the time she does it in pants. I'll ask n ask n I've tried not mentioning at all but the second she's out of sight she'll do it in pants. At nursery too. But if I can convince her to sit n try a poo after meal times she will do a poo on potty no problem so I'm sure she's not scared, doesn't hurt. She does one on the potty someone of her own accord too, just more in pants. She gets loads of praise and a chocolate. I know she knows to poo in the potty but obviously something stops her sometimes.
Just wanted to know others who have been through this, how long did it take till pooing in pants stopped? I know we have to just ride it out and every child is different, just looking for an idea! I don't think there is anything we can do except wait š„“
