3 year old - back in pull ups

Hi all! Hope you're okay.

After getting close to training about 3 months ago, daughter about 3 and a half is starting to have more accidents at both home and pre school! She doesn't notice until after she's almost fully wet and then tries to run to the toilet once it's far too late.

We've gone back into pull ups when out and about, but the preschool also are recommending she comes in pull ups for the rest of the year as she is having these accidents almost daily. I'm not sure what to do. Should we go to pull ups for preschool and out and about or for all the time. Or should we go back to nappies as wearing pull ups all the time like pants may confuse her causing training to take longer?

I thought we'd almost solved this so any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!!

I would maybe just go back to nappies, take some pressure off yourself and also her. Encourage the potty when you are changing her and before baths etc. Try again in a few months and i'm sure she will crack it x

Thanks for the advice. We talked with her and she was a little teary but said she was more sad when she had accidents. We've gone back to nappies having bought some today and has had an accident without even noticing due to the lack of the noticing of the way, so I think she just isn't back to being ready yet. When should we try to start again? We've spoken with the pre school and they're happy with starting next year in pull ups, but I'm not sure if I should be okay with her going in September if she shows no signs as she'll be close to four?

Thanks so far x

Honestly mn is very pro “not ready” yet- I disagree unless any sen or delayed speech issues.
Back in nappies / pull ups sends mixed messages. My advice stop asking if she needs the loo and waiting to be told she needs to go- before u get in the car stick her on the loo, arrive somewhere with a toilet take her to the loo. You will learn roughly how long she can hold her bladder for and so will she.
