3.5 YO gone back to having 4+ accidents a day

My DD who is 3 and a half has been potty trained (ish) for over a year now. We’ve always had the odd accident here and there as normal and then phases where she seems to have at least 1 accident everyday but has always gone back to being pretty much dry. The last 4 weeks she has gone back to wetting herself between 3 and 5 times a day! I think we’ve had 1 dry day in this period. I have no idea what’s causing it. I’ve tried to be super cool about it and talk to her, but she doesn’t seem to care. I ask her whether she can feel when she needs to go and she says she can’t, but she’s never said this before and she does also talk nonsense (in a lovely way). None of her friends do this according to her, so it’s not like she’s seeing it happening somewhere else. To make things worse her 2.5yo brother has started potty training and gone straight from nappies to dry (day and night) with very little hassle. She hates the praise he’s getting for it, and I feel bad but also can’t not praise him for doing a great job (he started potty training after after her accidents started so it’s not the cause). Do I just ride this out and hope that it passes?

No nothing, Poo is normal, no complaints of being uncomfortable and no itching!

My wee girl did this. It turned out to be a urine infection, we took a sample to the doctor.

I got an old clean takeaway tub and put it in the bottom of the toilet, and then the next time she went for a pee it caught the urine and then we just transferred to a sample pot, popped to the doctors, they confirmed and we got antibiotics. Accidents stopped 24 hours later
