4yo sometimes accidents

My 4yo is finally toilet trained since middle March. Occasionally he will poo in his pants even tho he knows where toilet is and how to go and will happily go there.

For example today after nursery we were in the garden and he was stood funny. I went over and he has a present in his pants. The door was open and previously he had gone inside by himself to wee. So I flushed it away and he done the rest on the toilet normally

This sometimes happens at nursery too. Should I worry? I guess my real fear is it's school in September so I don't really want this sort of thing happening there

IME it's normal. My daughter has quite a few poo accidents in her first year at school (twice in one day, that was a stellar day in her education 😁).

Is he constipated? That is the most common cause for accidents, otherwise in the first 1or 2 years past potty training it's normal.
