11month Constipated

My baby is severely constipated after we’ve tried to wean him onto cows milk.
its so bad he is straining and you can feel the hardness he’s constantly crying and trying to go to no avail.
His bum is now red raw and you can feel a hard bulge.
Called 111 who initially said someone would call back but received a text to say they are busy so have closed the case.

Any advice on how to relief him?

Poor thing. Know that it's just a change in diet and he will get better

Prunes, peas, pineapple, pear (puréed - prunes and peas work well in my experience).

Lots of water and also warm orange juice

Glycerin suppositories
