Hi everyone

I'm looking at everyone's potty training tips or advice.. my son is 2 years 4 months and I'm wanting to give it a go! He says wee wee and will sit on the potty and say wee wee (he's wary of sitting on it naked but he did yesterday although didn't do a wee) He also tells us when he has done a poo (not every time) and has also said 'I poo' when he was about to do one.

For various reasons I want to have a go now but mainly because he has a kidney condition and potty training reduces the risk of UTIs and will also make life easier if I need to get a wee sample from him because currently it's hard work!

What are your tips and tricks ? Ideally I would wait abit longer so I know he fully understands as he is slightly behind with his language but I think we have enough to give it a go now! He wouldn't understand a sticker chart but possibly a chocolate button every time he goes could maybe work? is this a good trick or is this the wrong route to go down?

Thanks xx
