Hello Mumsnet, it’s been a while but I need some advice so here I am!
DN lives with us and potty trained unexpectedly well at 2y10m. Lots of praise and stickers, super proud of the wee lad!
He then had 2 excellent, predominantly dry months. Continued praise!
However; in the last few weeks he has started having dribbly accidents in the evenings between tea time and supper/bedtime. Not soak through wees, but take him to the toilet and find a damp patch; even if we take him to the toilet every 45 minutes. It isn’t every night but I feel
It’s increased in frequency. No accidents or dribbles ever; including all at day care.
I spoke to the GP incase it might be something untoward and no experience here as dd was either wet or dry, )no in between) who said as dn was only dribbling st this time of day; and as he’s the father of 4 boys, dn was likely aware of the dribbles but being tired/lazy about going.
Obviously I am not making a big deal of it with dn, but any reassurance for me that he will grow out of it, it’s normal for a just 3 year old boy would be wonderful.
Many thanks.
