She asks to use the toilet/potty then does nothing?

Currently starting to potty train my toddler doing it on her terms as and when she's ready! Yesterday she did her first poop on the potty after making us aware she needed to poo! But since she's gone back to asking to use it but doing nothing, I cannot catch her wee cues at all so I'm not sure what to try! Any ideas???

She's trying to learn when to go, so there will be lots of practice, a few successes and many accidents to start with. As much as you don't always get her cues, it sounds like she doesn't either! Keep trying, Rome wasn't built in a day.

She’s learning, which involves lots of experimenting. If they could do it 100% straight from the start port training wouldn’t be a thing.
Give her lots of drinks , stay at home and she’ll get the hang of it.
