Peeing outside

My DD has completely trained herself and is doing amazingly well. No accidents in weeks. However, she seems to be taking any opportunity to pee and poo outside. Just now she opened the door, in the pouring rain and just pulled down her trousers to pee on our front step??

I have no idea where this has come from? We have just had another baby. Could this be part of it? How do we stop it?

Oops 😂 sorry, not helpful.

How old is she? Can she get to the loo easily and is she happy to go alone?

She is 2.5. She uses the loo independently yes and also walks past it to get outside! Maybe she likes the feeling of the cold air on her bum or something? It only started after baby came along!

It's probably all of what you say - she likes the feeling, it gets attention - esp important whe there is a new baby, and she is still very young.
Do what you can to encourage and steer her to the loo/potty, it don't make a big deal about it. It will pass.
And maybe a potty outside for now... easier for clean up
