Today is day four of training DD who is three in June, going ok I think in that she will quite happily wee independently on the potty now. She has a pull up at night but still pulls this down and wees on the potty.
However I have two puzzles to solve, one is that she hasn't yet pooed on the potty as she's always done one in her night nappy on waking so far, and secondly she won't wear pants, even the ones she'd chosen, preferring to go commando under trousers. I couldn't do bare bottom half as she got pretty hysterical so I put loose trousers on her and she's been fine like that.
Any tips for getting her into pants, other than just keep offering? I let her choose her socks and t shirt so I can easily build pants in but so far she's just declined and popped her trousers on.
I know not a massive problem on day four but I don't want to cause headaches further down the line, she's not at childcare or anything at the moment so won't see peers in pants, her cousins are mostly younger than her too.
