Potty for little boy

My little boy has started potty training. He is happy to wee in the potty but the wee goes everywhere! This is putting both of us off 😂 We are currently using the Pourty. I'm not sure if we need a different potty, if so, any recommendations? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

Is he sitting on it rhe right way around with the high splash guard at the front?
Encourage him to lean forward and point his penis down getting into good habits for using a toilet.
Many go straight to the toilet might also be worth trying if you have a downstairs loo.

Thanks @jannier, I never thought to reach him to lean forward. I've tried sitting him on the potty facing both ways but it still goes everywhere. He does see on the toilet but he's more distracted doing that

Yeah you have to get him to point it downwards, every day is a school day when you're a parent! Good luck with potty training.

He needs to push his penis down or lean forward. I read a good tip which was to get them to touch their toes.

Also make sure he's sitting on it properly - we have a Pourty and the angle he's sat at makes a big difference.
