Accidents

Hi! Potty training my 2yr5mnth old. Started last Tuesday so today is day 6. First time at the childminder today and no accidents but did have one when we got home. They’ve been having about 1 or 2 accidents a day. Just wondered how long to expect little accidents for? We do still give reminders but get a very firm ‘no’ if they don’t need the potty and there is no way on Earth they will sit on the potty/toilet if they say they don’t need it 😂. Not concerned or anything but never done this before so wanted an idea?

Every child is different. It could be a long time (like years, my oldest only fully accident free when he turned 7) or it could be quick and over in a few weeks. Whatever way doesn't matter just be thankful for washing machines 😜

DD has been trained for about a year and a half and still has accidents but normally it indicates something wrong now like constipation rather than she got distracted or just didn't want to go. Oh and running water still gets her
