Any advice would be great.
My DD is 26 months. We started potty training on 30th May (yes she was young but she'd been ready for a while, but we waited till DD2 was here and things had settled down).
Other the first few days accidents had been minimal.
She's been in pants since 2nd June. She was able to go several days on the trott without an accident in June. (Maybe 1 accident a week).
In July she had maybe 2-3 accidents, (going 2 weeks with no accidents).
I don't know what's changed but the last 4-5 weeks have been a nightmare. We went from no accidents in over 2 weeks to x3 accidents a day. A least 1 accident everyday for 3 weeks. The last 2 weeks have been a bit better, we've managed 3 days this week with no accidents.
In the first 2 months most accidents were wees. She didn't have any issue going for a poo. Would take her self off to the toilet and shout when she was finished. Whereas the last 4-5 weeks she'll stand next to the potty and say "I'm having a poo". Or even say she doesn't need one as she stands there doing it.
We've had move accidents in the last 4 weeks than we had in the first 2 months!
Things have improved this week.
I'm not sure what I'm asking. How long did it take your little ones to be reliably dry?
2 times she's asked for a nappy. And I've put her in one but she's not used it.
Also, she's never had an accident in the car or pushchair. And she's dry throughout all of her naps.
Any tips or advice welcome 🙏
