My little boy is 18 months old, recently I think he started to show signs that soon he will be ready to be potty trained. He hates having a wet nappy and will pull it off as soon as he's gone for a wee/pee or bring me a new nappy to get him changed. He cannot yet say wee or poo so I don't know if he has the understanding to be potty trained just yet. But I'm not really sure how I potty train. Do I just let him run lose with no nappy? How do I do it when I go out? At bedtime does he still wear nappies? What has worked for everyone please help

Absolutely don't bother training a boy at 28 months Wink he's 100 percent not ready and you'll just upset both of you.

@WaterBottle123 I'm not gojng to do it now I want to wait for him to be able to communicate more o just want to know how you actually potty train because I have no idea

There's a book called Potty Training Boys which has lots of tips and takes you through the process.

Wait at least one more year, take the nappies away and plonk on potty every 15 mins :)
