How do you manage getting out and about on foot in the early days?

We're on attempt two of toilet training with my now 2yr9mth girl. She's finally getting it and starting to take herself to the potty and sit down. Still having a couple of accidents, starting to pee then rushing to the potty, etc. But on a whole she's starting to get out of the habit of just peeing.

We're now on day 5 and will need to start going out on the school run again from tomorrow. I don't drive so we're out in buggy also need to go pharmacy etc tomorrow.
I've stopped leisurely trips out for now til she's got better control and going longer betweens pees, but what do I do about the essential trips, put on nappy or risk her peeing her buggy. I don't fancy the idea of taking a potty and getting her out buggy and onto potty on the street/shops in this weatherGrin

Arghhh

Do not put her in a nappy.

Limit the fluids you give her right before leaving.

Get her to go before you leave the house.

Buy some drynites bed mats and put one in the buggy for her to sit on. Or if you have any puppy training pads they do the same thing. Or just put a towel down. Also a good tip for car seats/the sofa etc.

Take a change of clothes and wet wipes just in case.

What @NuffSaidSam said! Don’t use nappies it will only confuse them

We had a potette potty; it is a portable potty which uses bags. We used to leave it with a bag in ready for the inevitable! It was also useful when using public toilets as it acts as a little seat too.
