Hello,
I've started potty training my 3 year old DS and all is going very well so far!
I was just wondering about days out etc, I have bought one of those travel urinal bottle things for him (thought it was a bit silly at first but after thinking about it, I think it will be very handy and portable as I also have a baby so can't be lugging around too much)!
My DS seems to wee a lot, I'm looking forward to taking him to farms and zoos etc when they're open but will I be rushing him to the loo or a bush every 5 minutes?

Do any of you lovely mums have any tips and tricks for when out about with a little one?
TIA Smile

Just don’t give huge amounts to drink before, got to loo before leaving house, start off by doing the trips to places you know will have a toilet nearby and carry a change of clothes and wipes
I let boys wee in a bush or tree discreet if our at large park etc and there’s no loo.

Oh yeah @RunFromMyScytheAndMyMerkin good idea about limiting drinks before hand!
Our closest zoo and farm trail is about 40 minutes away and they haven't got that many toilets really, considering how much he is going 😂 but I could hide him away hopefully with his little urinal bottle thing if needed!

Yeah just find somewhere discreet and don’t care what anyone else thinks. Seen a few posts on here where people think it’s vulgar to let them pee on potty’s or in bushes outside . At the end of the day, it’s for a limited time at a very young age. Who cares. Just keep out of the way of other people and do what works for you

@RunFromMyScytheAndMyMerkin that's ridiculous, they're children! I don't care what anyone thinks, I just want him to enjoy the day rather than me constantly worried he needs a wee and hounding him about it 😂
