Won't use toilet at nursery

My DS has just turned 4. We managed to get him potty trained over Christmas just gone, and not having to send him to nursery in January really seemed to embed it for him. He was taking himself for both wees and poops at home to the potty. He's started back to nursery and won't use the toilets there. He's had three accidents all poops in the two weeks since starting back and he's also stopped taking himself to potty at home too! He's got good control so I know he's holding in wees while he's there but poos are obviously another matter. Teacher says to just keep persevering but I'm worried that he's backsliding on what he's learned at home. Any advice really welcomed!

Is he using the toilet at home or the potty?

He uses both. Will go to toilet on morning and before bed when I take him and uses potty during the day unprompted

I’d encourage him to use the toilet always at home - is it accessible to him? Does he flush it himself? One of mine was a bit scared of the flushing at first

Yes toilet is accessible to him, I will try to steer him towards using toilet more during day thanks
