Wee problems

Having a bit of a mare with our toddler! Any advice would be appreciated.

He's 2 years and 7 months, and very vocal. There isn't much he cant communicate so that isn't an issue. We've been potty training for about 3/4 months now and it started off really well but the last few weeks he's leaking in his pants before every wee. He will tell me he doesn't need a wee, before leaking and then rushing to the potty.

We've tried bribery, we have a sticker chart, I've even (on a very bad day!) threatened to put him back in nappies. Its like he just doesn't care. I don't think its an attention thing, he gets plenty of praise when successful.

He takes himself off to the potty/toilet to poo with no issues, and he is completely dry at night so I know he is aware of what it feels like, etc.

Anyone had a similar situation and have any advice?
