I have two children, a little boy who turned 4 in Nov and a little girl (2). My son has been potty trained since about May or so (lockdown was a good opportunity to press ahead with it...)
At the minute, he will pee in the toilet without any problems and this is what he does with his childminder and at playschool. He will not however use the toilet for a poo and every night, without fail, will wait until he has on his night time pull-up (he wears pants in daytime) before doing a poo. Since it’s when he’s still awake this seems to be a choice on his part; when asked why he doesn’t use the toilet for pooing as he does for peeing, he just says “I like pooing in my pull-up” 🙄
It’s not a massive issue as it’s only me and my husband who are having to change him, but just wondering if anyone’s had a similar experience and when their little one turned a corner as regards pooing in the damn toilet/potty!
