My 28 month old has been having poos on the potty since about 18 months. She hated to poo in a nappy and would have to be lay down with the nappy opened to poo - we tried a potty which she really took to and has done all poos on a potty since then. We're now at 28 months and trying to get her to pee as well on the potty. We've tried a few times in the past and she wasn't ready - a lot of accidents. This time we've been getting her to go on the potty pretty much every hour and she's been peeing when she needs to. Over about a week she's had a couple of accidents some days and none on others. She isn't saying when she needs to go though - is this something that she will learn by using the potty more or should we be giving up for a while.
