Recommendations for bedwetting alarm?

Hello! DS recently turned 7 and is still wet at night about a third of the time - no particular pattern, he's been dry 5 nights in a row but can also wet several in a row.

We've recently stopped pullups so as to get a good sense of what's happening and when he wets he wakes up but usually not until there's quite a lot of wee out (we have a mattress protector, double make the bed with a pad between the two bottom sheets). Wetting always between 1 and 3 am which reading the ERIC website suggests not that likely to be an issue with hormone production.

So we think it is time to try an alarm and I'd be really grateful for recommendations and ones to avoid. He is quite wriggly and can easily get uncomfortable when asleep so thinking a pad-based one but if those are terrible please say!
