Hardly any wees

Hi all
Potty trained my 22mo with no drama using the Oh Crap! book and it worked very well. Now trying the same method with her sister at the same age and she's only just done her third wee of day 2. It's difficult to reinforce the message when we've so few wees to practice with! The book suggests not overloading with fluids under 24mo and we have super-strong bladders in both families.

She went 5.5 hours without weeing on day 1 Shock then announced she wanted a wee and sat on the potty. Today has been three wees, three on the floor or on us.
DH wants to give up and try later this summer but I'm sure she'll be fine.
Any thoughts?

I’d be worried about causing urine infections if the withholding is new. How many wet nappies would you expect in this time frame normally?

She probably has six nappies a day plus any poo ones. She's been dry at both nap times 🤷‍♀️
