Wee accidents

Hi

My daughter was pretty much completely toilet trained until last week when we started sending her back to nursery part time. And now she seems to be having a lot of wee accidents - both at nursery and home. Previously, she would just tell us ‘toilet’ and we would take her, she would go and no fuss. She even had naps without a nappy on but we have had to go back on that. Now she seems to just be having so many wet accidents although she is still fine with poo.

What, if anything, can I do about this? I’m getting really quite stressed out by it.

Easier said than done but try not to stress. We had similar with DD1 at the start of lockdown, changes in routine are a key trigger for potty regression. In our case it drove me mad and over the weeks I tried everything- being gentle, getting cross, getting her to change herself, changing her etc. In the end I just tried to relax, and pretend I didn't know she'd been potty trained for a year so went back to frequent escorted trips to the potty and a sticker chart! She still has more accidents than prior to lockdown vue is far better than she was.
