So the day started at 5am with DS screaming his beds wet. Not the end of the world, actually only the second wet bed since we drop nappies, but this will be relevant later. Striped off bedding and put straight in wash so waterproof sheet will be dry by bedtime.

Then this afternoon DS said he needed a wee, and took himself off upstairs, great. Or it would be great if he hadn't of decided to do a "standy up wee" onto the closed toilet lid. Ok, still good effort. Pee obviously got all over the floor, including soaking his pants and trousers that were round his ankles at the time.

I help him out of the wet things, then start cleaning up while he porters off (with naked bottom half) to play in his room. I'm just thinking, 'it's not so bad, at least tiles are easy to clean' when DS runs through with the announcement that "a poo came out onto my bed". And yes, the bedding and mattresses protector was still in the wash.
