Accidents when wearing pants

Hello

Recently started potty training with my little one. It is going surprisingly well DC tells us that needs to use potty but only when bottomless but each time when wears pants has accidents. What's the best way forward leave DC bottomless for a while so can learn to always use potty and carry on with wearing pants so DC learns at some point

Pants, IME the wet feeling helps them learn, as long as the response is ‘oh you’ve had a wee, never mind’
Not like another thread on here when someone was cross when they were having accidents in their pants!

Go with pants. I left dc bottomless to avoid confusion but it made it harder when expected to wear pants again.
Accidents will happen but as long as its just followed with an "oh dear, you had an accident. That doesn't feel very nice does it? Let's do it in the potty next time" they get it eventually.
