We started potty training my DD who is 2 and a half on Monday - going ok, yesterday we managed all wees on the toilet and she's telling us when she's needs to go..

But we've had no poo since Monday afternoon and she's normally a once a day girl! I can't work out if she's holding it in - she's been holding her bottom a few times as if it's uncomfortable so I feel like she needs to go.

She could be drinking more so trying to encourage her with water and we've also been sitting her on the loo for 10 mins or so with an ipad to see if anything comes out but nothing! She also been eating lots of fruit.

I also showed her the 'poo goes to pooland' story but I'm not sure she understood it!

Any suggestions on what else we could do?

Have you taken her to the toilet with you when you go for a poo? I know it sounds gross but we’ve been training for 3 weeks, and there was no poop in the potty (just nappy) for the first three days. We took DS to the bathroom with us to show him what happens & now he gets really excited when he does a ‘big poo poo’ on the potty. We’re doing the Oh crap method & I think she says it can take longer with poops due to the very different sensation. We also read Pirate Pete sometimes when he’s waiting to poop.
