I'm really frustrated now so sorry if this is a long rant. Ds is 3. He's been toilet trained for wees for 7 months now and takes himself to the toilet no problem whatsoever. He was the one who asked for underpants as he said diapers were uncomfortable for him, so I didn't push potty training on him. Poos are a different story. At the beginning of the potty training he was asking to go for poos and did them on the toilet. After a couple of weeks or so he just started soiling himself and he's not even bothered telling me. I've been cleaning up to 3 poos daily and I'm just sick of it I'm literally crying right now. I'm 25 weeks pregnant and exhausted already, just can't imagine how much worse it'd be when the baby is here. We've tried "rewards". He doesn't care. I explain to him why it needs to be done in the toilet. We've read lots of stories and I've managed to keep the fun spirit up until today's morning where I was really cross and he kept apologising, and still did the second poo in pants. Ugh. Can't stand the thought of washing one more pair of pooey pants.
Has anyone been through this and came out of the other end? Any tips? Thank you.
