Please help, my 3 year old has completely regressed, he was brilliant at potty training and did really well but I'm the last few months has began wetting and pooing himself and won't tell us he needs the toilet.

He has been potty trained since 2 xxx

Has there been any changes in routine etc outside of the toilet issue that could be effecting him?

Is he becoming so engrossed in play or any other activity that he can’t get to the loo on time ? Our three and a half year old grandson has done this a couple of times lately for that reason .

My 5 year old still does this. We have had hell on at school as she just wets herself as she's too engrossed in things.

I honestly think it's a case of when they're ready they're ready and it'll click. Highly frustrating in the meantime though.

Is there anything else worrying or changed at home?
Perhaps try a reward chart with stickers and a prize at the end of the week 💙

My 3 year old is also lazy re the potty, especially at home. She knows exactly what to do and is capable but would rather not sometimes. She regressed a bit too but then it's starting to get better so hang in there.
