Leaking wee before getting to toilet

My daughter has been potty training for 2 months now (she is 2.5 years old.) She uses the toilet as she has point blank refused to sit on a potty! She only has a nappy on for bedtime and long car journeys. She is really good with poos and hasnt had an accident with them for about a month, however she constantly has accidents with wees still. Its only a little dribble in her pants about the size of a 50p but its almost every time, even if she has peed recently and then doesnt do a huge amount when shes on the toilet. I have tried talking to her and explaining she must tell mummy as soon as she needs a wee so her pants stay dry, she also gets a sticker for wee wees on the toilet with dry pants but the leaks happen constantly! Today she got through 11 pairs of knickers!! I dont know what to do as she understands to tell me when she has to go and I always drop everything to take her straight away. Any advice please??

My 5 year old dd is exactly the same 2 years down the line and it's very frustrating. Your daughter is still so young so I really wouldn't worry about it. Again I know how annoying it is but she'll get there.

Is it gross to just not care and let it dry? It's only a tiny bit, right?

My daughter is 4 years 3 months old and we still have a lot of wee accidents which drives me mad. We have a toilet training chart at home and one is used at school too, I think my daughter is lazy and can't be bothered to get there early enough a lot of the time. I wouldn't worry about your daughter she's only young and will get the hang of it soon I'm sure xx
