Dry in pull ups at night but not without

My 4.5 year old DD has been dry during the day for at least 18months.

I posted another thread around a month or so ago because she had started having a good number of dry nights. This has continued and we decided (including my DD) to keep pull ups off for the last two nights. She’s wet the bed both nights. Is this a normal transition or would we be best going back to pull ups? My other thought was to perhaps put pull ups over the top of knickers that way she’d still feel the wet and be a little uncomfortable?!

Any thoughts/advice would be greatly welcomed.

DS2 was the same, dry in night nappies wet without. We discovered that if he wore pants under his pyjamas he didn't wet the bed, but without he did...

Thank you for your response Bicnod. I have still put knickers on her however I’ve put a nightie on thinking it would be easier for her to go to the toilet if needed. I may try pjs tonight as it may feel like she has something more on her bottom half.

Trial and error I’m sure 😄
