So my 2 year old daughter the other day pulled her pull ups down and weed on the potty which made my 3 year old son what to try. That day I let them run round naked in the garden all day. My daughter didn't wee in the potty again but did poo in it and my son just weed and pood everywhere but the potty. The 2nd day my daughter didnt use the potty at all and said no when I asked her if she wanted to go on the potty. My son still hasn't gone on potty but we have since taken them out to buy big girl and big boy pants to wear so that they can feel when they wee. My son tells me every time he has gone for a wee or a poo but no potty joy yet and my daughter recognises when she's weed or pood but still no potty joy since that first day and when she is weeing and I try to put her on the potty she gets upset which isn't great because I know it shouldn't be stressful for them. I've been told kids have to have around 30 accidents before they start to get it but as a parent it is naturally quite stressful so any tips would be welcome?
