My dd is 14 months old and rthrows tantrums when i try to change her nappy, this has never been a problem until recently! She doesnt mind me taking off the dorty one its when I put a clean one on she refuses to sit at peace or she runs away and pulls it off. Is she too you g to be potty trained? Also this is my first child and i have no idea how to go about doing this ie how do i start? what do i do? Not got many people to ask for help with this so any help would be appreciated!

i would take the pullups- are they ready quiz as a guideline to see if she is ready. if so, i would buy some of these, and explain to her that these are her big girl pants. you might find reading her no more nappies to help explain what she needs to do. then pop this on the toilet, and show her it. take her every hour to sit on the toilet; you need to make sure you do this very hour so she gets into a routine. when she does a wee, give her one smartie, and a poo gets her 2 and she gets to ring a bell (search handbell on amazon). don't let her ring this any other time as it will make it more special. dont worry if she doesn't get the hang of it, she might be too young and it is early to start. if she doesnt get the hang of it (give her a week or 2) then i would stop and start again a bit later x
