Just wondering what age would you expect DC to be completely independent for wiping herself after doing a poo?
I’m trying to reinforce wiping from the back- (front to back) but she keeps wiping from the front and giving herself really bad thrush. I’ve spoken to school on a number of occasions and they refuse to help her. They say they are willing to check if she is clean once she’s tried herself but will not supervise at all. Many times over the last couple of months she’s come home crying inconsolably because she’s so sore, but they won’t help.
They also refuse to remind her to put cream on to help things and say to leave it in her bag so she can get it if she wants it.
AIBU to be really annoyed?

It’s awful. She just forgets. She’s come home crying again today I feel so sorry for her.
