Should I be worried? I’m concerned he is pushing them out and don’t want him to hurt himself! or is it just one of those things?

What kinds of poos were they? Could he be a bit constipated?

Nowwhenitrains · 02/03/2019 18:41

I was thinking that as the first 5 were quite large but the rest have been tiny blobs and they looked quite hard. I just wasn’t sure if it was normal or he’d found a new ‘toy’ as it were Grin

Has he recently mastered pooing in the potty? My youngest did this once he'd cracked pooing on the potty, maybe like trying it out?

@NoKnit oh that could be it. I think he has mastered it, he needed a poo today and went straight to the potty and had it.

My youngest realised a reward was in the offing, and managed to ration out both wees and poos to maximise his benefit - his bowel and bladder control was impressive when he wanted it to be it turned out!

I had to move onto all wees and poos having to be in the potty, rather than rewards for individual deposits quite quickly.

Do you give a reward? We had to congratulate DD for “big” wees otherwise she would sneak out dozens of tiny ones (she initially got a sticker for motivation). I’m not looking forward to her first poo in a relatively public place..... “wow DD, what a huge poo! That’s amazing! Look at the HUGE poo you did!” grin
