Is my 2 year old ready for potty training?

DD is 2 years & 3 months. She started showing an interest during the summer when it came to using the potty, but never managed to poo or wee on it. I think she just liked to sit on it.
The last week ive put her in proper knickers but she won't tell me when she needs to go, just that she has gone. Today she's already gone through 4 pairs of knickers and leggingsSad
She does have a slight speech delay and only says the basic few words, im wondering if this doesn't help?
She also doesn't seem to care that she's peed or pooed in her knickers, is she even ready??!

these potty training pants were a great help for me. they saved my carpet and furniture. they are waterproof, so when a child does wee, then he feels it and they don't transfer the liquid. in 2 weeks my 2 years old boy got it and started asking for a potty. and you can wash them and reuse lots and lots of times.

Read the ‘oh crap’ book.

Doesn’t sound like she is ready yet. DS is 2 years and 2 months and he definitely isn’t. He also doesn’t have much communication and so I’m going to wait until he is older before we attempt it.
