Wetting the bed, after being dry for months

Ds1 potty trained quickly and easily in March, when he was 2yrs8months. I had no hopes of him being dry at night as he had been filling and leaking nappies several nights a week til then. Much to my surprise he was dry at night 4 (I had still put nappies on at night) He was brilliant in the day with very few wee and no poop accidents. I stopped using night nappies after a month and had a few weeks of him waking for a wee in the night, or waking up earlier than usual.

Skip forward to now, he's been totally dry at night since then, apart from a couple of accidents when he was poorly. Never got him up to see. He's 3 yrs 4 months. In Sept he started doing 2 full and 1 half day at pre school (from 2 half days) and is very tired. Won't nap or rest. With this has come the bed wetting. It would be every night now if I didn't get him up. And last night the babydudnt wake me at 3/4am as usual so by the time I woke at 5.30 he'd wet the bed.

It's been suggested that I limit his drink after lunch, I'm not really keen though as that seems an awfully long time to be without much drink

Do I just keep getting him up and hope he grows out of it?

My daughter was dry for a year and half then started wetting bed. Recently started day wetting.
Drs told me they think she is constipated and the pressure on bladder causes accidents.

Could that be the case ?

No constipation issues. I actually think the early morning wees, he knows he's doing. He was poorly last night, I got him up twice for a wee, did one at 11, said he couldn't at 5. By 7 he was awake, and had wet the bed. But because his grow schlock was still blue he was just laying there. I've tried to explain that he needs to call me.

My son did this when he had a urine infection. No other symptoms. Cleared up after antibiotics. Also check for thread worms - has he been itchy?

No itchyness. Is normally ok if I get him up around 4. I did 3 the other night and he still wet after.
