DD is telling us she's done pee pee (no. 2) and also going into her own corner when she needs to go, tells us no and looks away when its happening.

All good signs that she's aware of toilet behaviour - at nursery she's even better and makes reference to just wet nappies.

She's still just under 2 so quite young - but want to make the most of her awareness - any early things we could be doing to encourage this along?

you could put the potty out in the bathroom and tell her that when she needs to go, she can sit on the potty. if she does this, shower her with praise and some smarties or raisins. however, if she doesn't manage then tell her not to worry, it doesn't matter etc
