Potty training regression.

I have b/g Twins who are 2.5 years. We started potty training in the summer as the weather was hot enough to allow for bare bums outside etc etc.

My girl got it in a few days. My boy took about a week to be reliable. That was a month ago.

However, this last week my boy had forgotten it. He is weeing all over the floor. He doesn't seem to know when he needs to go - he was taking himself off to the loo a couple of weeks ago, now it's a bit of a fight.

It's ok if there are more adults around but his tell has changed so I can't see it coming if I'm on my own.

What can I do?

I have had similar issues with my 2.5 year old! Trained 2 months ago, reliably dry within a week. Then 2 weeks ago, suddenly loads of accidents! I have gone back to basics and massively upped the praise and rewards which had all stopped, this seems to have helped. If it's been a while since he's been I do make him have a try as well. Seems to be working although he did still have one accident today (but last week it was 4 or 5 a day!)
I think the novelty has just worn off for my DS!

Good to hear it's not just us.

I've been going back to basics too and all the stickers are being used,

Such an arse when he had totally got it!!

we started potty training around 20months DD and DS, like you we did bare bums, watched when they needed to go and it was as easy as that. My DS did actually regress we tried back to basics with stickers, rewards and lots of praise. But he didnt pick it back up, with me pregnant its been eaiser for ds to go back to nappies and were gonna re try in a few months. hth

@emilylloyd100 how long was he 'trained' for before his regression?
