Back to pull ups?

Our 2 year old has been potty trained for about 6 months, he had quite a few dry nights so we ditched to pull ups, he did well for the first few nights but has been wet in the morning most days since, he's dry until at least 5am but won't be taken out of bed for a wee at all! Should I just give it up and put him back in pull ups for a few months?

Can you put a potty in the room? Night time dryness always takes longer than daytime dryness.

We have one in there, he will sometimes sit on it in the morning and squeeze out a tiny bit but he's already wet

Great job getting the day time potty training sorted out. Unfortunately night time dryness has more to do with a developmental milestone (I remember reading somewhere that most kids are dry overnight consistently by 4).

My DS1 was potty trained ‘late’ at 3.5 years but soon went straight into underwear overnight also as I found his pull ups bone dry in the morning. Waking him up to go for a wee in the night would have been a terrible idea in our case!!

I know you said that was the case with your LO also but perhaps wait a little longer and see how many dry vs wet nights has has over the next few weeks and go from there? Good luck!
