In need of advice! I have two boys - one has just turned 6yo and the other is 3yo. Have been trying to lose the pull ups over night - for the last couple of weeks, but historically they have both been quite wet overnight.

Anyway, they are both enthusiastic to give up the pull ups and as school hols/warm weather to wash sheets, we are giving it a go.

So far my 3yo is doing ok - a couple of dry nights. However, my eldest has only done one complete night of no wetting. I check them at 11pm and 6yo has sometimes already wet, without it even disturbing or waking him. I can change his bed sheets without him even waking!

Would you advise that I go back to the pull ups for now, as his body isn't ready? Or keep persevering?

They go to their dads 2 nights per week and he is keen to get them out of pull ups ... so thinks i must be doing something wrong as they are doing "better" at his.

We are both trying to limit drinks at a certain point before bedtime, wees before get in bed, etc, so are on the same page with a lot of things!

Help!

It sounds like your 6yo is just not ready. I would put him back to pull ups and not worry about it. My DS is 6 and is still in nappies at night.
